Gold Christmas Tree Tablescape Design Idea

Creating an Elegant Gold Christmas Tree Tablescape

This Gold Christmas Tree Tablescape Design Idea looks exquisite at night. It will glitter and shine as it reflects the light from all of the flickering candlelight. Lighting is everything and the abundance of candlelight surrounding the Christmas trees reflects the glimmering gold Christmas trees beautifully.  The silver candlesticks and gold votive candle holders, along with the gold and green design Christmas ornaments, all add glimmer, magic and sparkle to the table, and this elegant, formal gold tablescape is full of magical sparkle!

The table linens selected for this table are all a neutral color base which give the table a simple yet elegant appeal.  The table cloth is a cream jacquard damask, the table runner and placemats are an earthy olive green with a gold sheen and the napkins are a natural linen.   I have selected a beautiful example which I think adds to the elegance of a gold tablescape. It is also the perfect background layer for our gold fine china dinnerware.

A two tone ivory linen and cotton jacquard table cloth expertly woven from Europe will set an elegant Gold Christmas Tree Tablescape.
It is a beautiful table cloth which will be a lovely landscape background to create tablescapes for many different special occasion events.

On the green placemats are layers starting with shiny gold plated chargers. The next layers are gold banded fine china dinner and salad plates with little Christmas tree ornament decorations as the finishing touch.  You could put gold Christmas tree place card holders here instead. Each place setting has sterling silver flatware and crystal wine glasses sitting on alternating gold and olive green coasters.

To re-create this tablescape I looked for gold table top Christmas trees in different sizes, materials and design.  The trend these days is not so much to match everything perfectly, but to coordinate by mixing different elements in an eclectic style which in turn will add to the depth and dimension of the table design.

I would be sure to use the taller mix of trees grouped in the center (or one single tree) while adding in shorter trees at different height levels, on each side and in front of the taller trees. Be sure to set it the same way on each side of the table in a mirror setting. That way the guest sitting on each side of the table will have the exact same view.

I would then add gold Christmas candles and a few Christmas ornament pieces made of a combination of polished gold, silver, copper and crystal. These pieces could consist of gold figurines such as deer, moose, sleighs, or birds.  Mix in pieces from your own collection that you adore.

Anchoring each end of the tablescape are pairs of sterling silver candle sticks . Silver candelabras could be substituted for a more formal event.  Gold pillar candles and gold taper candle holders were placed surrounding the Christmas trees and the gaps are filled in with gold and green Christmas ball ornaments.

This same scene could also be created using gold and red or gold and white as the color scheme instead of green.  Both color schemes will be just as gorgeous as the green. The color choices are to your own personal taste and home decor.

See the gorgeous gold Christmas Tree pieces I have found to easily re-create this same scene. Any of these gold trees can be mixed and matched the way you like on your own gold themed tablescape.

I have simplified your table decorations and saved you precious time from the overwhelming pressure of the rushed Christmas holiday season by doing the searching for you. This helps you by making one less thing for you to stress over during th holidays.

I would use this gold glitter tree as the center of our Gold Christmas Tree Tablescape design.  At 2 feet it has just the right height for the center piece. This tree is embellished with sparkling gold glitter and iridescent mica flakes to make it sparkle in the flickering candlelight.  At the base of the glittery resin tree is an attached pot with an intricate scroll design.

This elegant set of gold antiqued and beautifully sculpted polystone Christmas trees includes four trees, two of each height.  I would use a pair of these Christmas trees (1 of each height) at each end of the table arrangement, perhaps next to the silver candlestick holders used as anchors.

This gorgeous trio of gold sequined Christmas trees will be perfect for this table arrangement because, first of all it follows the decorators rule of three to a grouping, and secondly, the gold sequins and glass glitter will be beautiful when they catch the flickering lights of the candles on the table. I would use these trees placed in the center of a Gold Christmas Tree Tablescape arrangement, then fill in around them with more trees and candles to achieve an effect similar to our “idea” photo.

Glittered & Iced Gold Christmas Table Top Trees

Glittered & Iced Gold Christmas Table Top Trees Set of 2 by Allstate

This unique glittered & iced gold Christmas tree will add sparkle and charm to the gold Christmas tree tablescape we are creating. The leaves on this tree are decorative with gold flakes, dusted with iridescent glitter, and sprinkled randomly with shiny clear beads, giving it just the right amount of warm, golden sparkle which we want in our tablescape design.

I would get one, two or four, depending on the height measurements of my other gold trees. If this one at 30″ is the tallest, I would only need one for the center.  If using them as the anchor trees in the design, I might use two of different heights. For a center grouping, but not the tallest tree, I would get four; two for each side of the center tablescape.  They are available in 3 size heights. Click the link for the height you want.

I think these whimsical, gold tube trees are an excellent choice to use as filler trees in our Gold Christmas Tree Tablescape Design, especially for a more modern contemporary table design. Their light feathery look will give a modern new look to the gold “Christmas tree forest” we are creating. I think I would ether spray paint the black bases gold or cover with gold leaf.

These golden glittery Christmas tree placecard holders could be placed on the top layer of our table setting or placed on the table above each place setting,  next to the wine glasses.  They will add to the sparkle of the table  wherever they get placed because of the glittery gold wire they are made out of.  They are so adorable with their star toppers, which incidentally are the placecards holders.  The placecards are included.
